You have heard that it was said,
“You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.”
But I say to you,
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:43-44 (ESV)
After I watched this video, I asked myself, “Can I say ‘I was praying for you?'” This year, Sunday, November 5, is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Following the cross is a high cost in many countries today. Would you pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are persecuted? Would you also pray for those who are persecuting them?
